The Hardware Meetup is an event designed for individuals who are passionate about creating tangible products. Our purpose is to provide a platform for hardware enthusiasts to connect, learn, and collaborate with others in the industry.
Whether you're a student or a professional, engineer or designer, our event offers an opportunity to meet others in the space and exchange information on challenges, solutions and trends. We believe that by bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, we can facilitate knowledge sharing and inspire people to build better physical products and experiences.
Join us to broaden your perspective, gain valuable insights, and connect with others who share your passion for tangible products.
The event is expected to have the following format.
For our first iteration, we aim for a turnout of 20 to 30 people
Our audience regroups anyone people working with tangible products, be it professionals in companies, startup members or founders, freelancers, students, etc. We aim to regroup people that work on all areas of hardware products, from engineers, designers, software developers, as well as people involved in branding, sales and funding/fundraising.
While the topics discussed can take a deeper turn into respective professional areas, they should remain interesting for people in tangential domains.
We’re looking for people interested in speaking at this event. Should you be interested, you would be asked to prepare a 15 min presentation on any topic you’d like, pertaining to building and commercializing tangible products. The presentation should not be overly formal, and is meant to share something with the hardware community at large. While it is NOT meant to be a promotional / advertisement session, it can be an opportunity to make an ask to the community at large.
